Hello, my name is Mindy Schramm and I am a will be a mother of two shortly. I have a two year old son who is my pride and joy. I will also be delivering our second baby boy in October.
I have had a love for art and design since I was a little girl. I took every art class I could throughout high school, took a few art classes in college, and currently went back to college to obtain my Bachelor's Degree in Web Design. I started out drawing and painting until I decided I wanted to make my own sweaters instead of buying them. I bought a book on how to knit and that was three years ago. Knitting is my favorite craft to do because it is completely relaxing for me. I ended up buying a book on Crocheting because many of the knitting patterns call for it but, I have yet to get good enough at it to make any items using only this technique. I just recently started making my own soaps and candles to put with my knitting gifts. I started painting on glass and wood again about a year ago. I forgot about how much fun I have doing it. I also just got a sewing machine and How-to book a month ago which I am excited about. Hopefully, I will be sewing new clothes and curtains in no time.
I just love creating all different types of crafts and artwork. In my personal life, one of my goals is to create a very relaxing, peaceful sanctuary. This goal is expressed in most of my creations. I think that it is important for everybody to have a little relaxation in their lives. I hope that you enjoy looking at my creations as much as I have enjoyed making them.
